Hearing Malfunction

SITUASI: Saya dan Pai sedang berjalan pulang ke rumah. Kami lalu sebuah poliklinik.

Pai: "Poliklinik."

Fanzi: "7.45."

Pai: "Haa, ko kena juluk?"

Fanzi: "Sia juluk ko punya telinga. Tuli betul!"

Pai: "Jadi ko cakap apa tadi?"

Fanzi: "Sia cakap 7.45. Ko tanya pukul berapa tadi kan!"

Pai: "Saya cakap POLIKLINIK!"

And the we both burst into laughter.

For those who didn't quite get the conversation, it's actually a case of a hearing malfunction. At first, I thought Pai was asking about the time (I couldn't hear what he was saying). Thus, I told him the time. Unfortunately, he couldn't hear me too. Akibatnya, conversation tu jadi macam _________ (fill in the blank).

Ko = Kau

Sia = Saya

Tuli = Pekak

Juluk = Jolok / Cucuk
