'Ku Ada Kamu' Adira AF8 Best

I'm not really a fan of the 8th Akademi Fantasia. But I love this one particular song Ku Ada Kamu sung by Adira. Adira is from Ranau, like me. Yeay! Haha. Anyways, this song is awesome. Trying to find words that can describe the awesomeness of the song. It's inspirational, mesmerizing and uplifting. =)

And the VC is also very cool. I really really love the red dress and the hair and the wind effect. Simply put, everything is AWESOME!

All the best Adira. Hope we can meet soon. =P

Di kala ku kehilangan di dalam kegelapan

Kau suluhkan sinar petunjuk
Di kala ku kesedihan
kau ukirkan senyuman
Dengan penuh sabar memujuk

Engkau menyambut tiap kali aku terjatuh

Andai hari esok langit akan runtuh
Tabahlah menjunjung bersamaku
Andai hari esok dunia gelora
Takkan ku gemuruh selagi ku ada kamu

Di kala aku tak pasti
Kau tampil dengan berani
Membimbing agar lebih yakin
Dan bila hidup penuh soalan
Kau berikan jawapan
Melengkap semua kekurangan

Engkau menyambut tiap kali aku terjatuh

Andai hari esok langit akan runtuh
Tabahlah menjunjung bersamaku
Andai hari esok dunia gelora
Takkan ku gemuruh selagi ku ada kamu

Tidak mungkin diri ini mampu
Hidup tanpa doronganmu

Andai hari esok langit akan runtuh
Tabahlah menjunjung bersamaku
Andai hari esok dunia gelora
Takkan ku gemuruh selagi ku ada kamu

Yours sincerely,

Sugandoi Kaamatan 2010

This time it's about my journey in the Sugandoi competition. Many of you guys out there may not know about Sugandoi. Well let me tell you a bit about it. When May comes, Kaamatan festival will take place in Sabah. This festival is celebrated anually. There will be many activities held such as Sugandoi and Unduk Ngadau. Sugandoi is actually a singing competition. The contestants will have to sing a Kadazan Dusun Murut song. So, that's about Sugandoi.

This year, like last year, I joined the Sugandoi. Unlike last year, this year, I represented Klang Valley. Again, like last year, I did not win.

Unlike last year, this year's Sugandoi is more exciting. The contestants are all awesome. They all have good vocal and they are fun to hang out with. I met with so many old friends (Sheryll, Ruth, Peter Anderson, Rita, Feraddy and many others) as well as new friends (Arie, Shana, Hendry and many others).

Last year I still remember putting high expectation of winning the competition but ended up not getting the top three spots. I was very frustrated back then. This year, I did not expect anything because I did not want to hurt like last year. The verdict, I did not win. But I'm happy and satisfied because the winner is really really really good and he deserve to win. I hope I can meet him again.

Although I did not win, I'm so proud of what I've achieved so far. I've done my very best and I did not regret anything. This year's Sugandoi was awesome and I'm so proud to be part of it.

Congratulations to all the winners. Arie (Kota Belud), Ruth (Tawau) and Hendry (Labuan). You guys are the BEST! Hope to see you guys again.

Here are the videos of the Sugandoi 2010 Champion. Awesome!

P/S: Looking forward to see the Unduk Ngadau competition.

KK Here I Come

While typing this, some of my friends may have already reached Kota Kinabalu by now. I'm jealous. Too bad my flight is on the 10th of May. Looks like I have to wait a few more days. I really really can't wait to go back to my hometown.

Well, tomorrow I'll be moving in to a new house (with my friends a.k.a house mates). I've seen the house today and I think it's nice. Nice enough for the 5 of us.

And I'll be in Flamingo Hotel on the 8th of May to perform (sing) during the Unduk Ngadau Klang Valley 2010. Can't wait for that also.

On the day after, a friend of mine invited me to a show at Port Dickson. I'm not sure if I could go but I guess it's gonna be fun. Let's just wait and see.

What I'm looking forward the most is going back to Sabah and enjoy my holidays there.

Take me home now.

Yours truthfully,

On The Last January 27

What's so special about January 27?

Well, it's a very special day indeed. On that day in 1988, a child was born. Guess who's the child?

I know the day had passed but it doesn't really matter. Just now, when I was browsing through some pictures in my laptop, I saw the pictures that were taken during my last birthday. Those photos were never published, until now apparently. It takes a few month to finally to be able to talk about my last birthday. That's sad.

What happened on that day? It was my birthday, of course. And my friends surprised me with a birthday cake. A small birthday cake with a really big meaning. I was so speechless and touched. With just a bottle of F&N Strawberry and a small but priceless cake and the 4 of us, we celebrated the best birthday I've ever had.

The best thing was the cake war. Haha. You know what it's like, right? I don't have to explain then.

Anyway, thanks so so much to Mohd Fairuz bin Mohd Ghazali a.k.a Pai, Mohd Hazwan bin Yasin a.k.a Zuan and Abdul Rafail bin Zarakh Khan a.k.a Raf for celebrating my birthday with me. It was a hell of fun. I love you guys as much as I love my jackets and shoes. Hehe.

These are some pics that were taken on that very special day of mine.

Thanks guys for this cute cake

After the war of cake

We were in a mess!

Can you see the pieces of cake on our face?

Love this moment

Thank you so much my friend. You guys are the BEST!

Yours sincerely,

Sweet Moments

I don't want to write / type too much on the introductory part. Hello is enough. Hehe.

Well, last week was indeed a superb one for me. I've been to so many places and events (not so many actually) around KL.

On the 30th of April, I attended the License To Style: Fashion On 1 @ 1 Utama. Thanks to Dior for inviting me. At first I didn't want to go but then I changed my mind.

I really really love the opening act. There was this girl who did acrobatic (if that's what we call it) on the air. It reminded me of Pink's performance during the Grammy Awards [WATCH THE VIDEO]

Other than that, throughout the show, I had to force myself to eat sushi (I don't like sushi) because I'm hungry and they served sushi only. There was no other food. However, it wasn't that bad. I enjoyed eating the sushi.

There, I met Ezlyn. She's very pretty and nice and very friendly. We had a conversation and she said that she broke her leg. That explains why she is rarely seen on any shows or events or TV these days. But now she is fine. Can't wait to see you back in action Miss Ezlyn.

I also met some celebrities such as Didie AF, Hafiz AF, Amber Chia, Daniel MI and so on.

Overall, the show was great. I'm looking forward for more.

Okay, this one was actually a singing competition. The winner of this competition will represent Klang Valley to the state Sugandoi competition in Sabah.

I've participated this competition last year but I was under DBKK back then. I didn't win the Sugandoi state level competition that year.

Thanks so much to Mdm Lucy and Adsone because they were the ones who urged me to join Sugandoi again this year. Honestly, I didn't want to join at first because I was damn exhausted. But then when I recalled back the sweet memories of the Kaamatan Festival in Sabah, I felt like it was a loss if I were not involved. So, simply put, I changed my mind and joined the competition.

I couldn't believe it because the other contestants were great too. Congrats to all the contestants. You guys did great! I guess it was just my luck. This means that I'm going to compete again in the state level Sugandoi competition. Gosh, I'm so nervous. No words can describe the feelings. I hope I'll do well in the state level. Wish me luck.

Well, that's the update.

Thanks for reading. =)

Yours sincerely,
