The anticipated Born This Way by Lady Gaga is finally here. I remember she blurted out a line from this song while presenting her acceptance speech during an MTV award show (I forgot which one) sometime ago. And I also remember the meat dress. It was so uncomfortable I think. Anyway, it's Lady Gaga. She loves all the attention.
So, I've listened to the song.
Uhuh, yes.
And?
And it's beyond my expectation. I thought the song is going to be slower and calmer, maybe ballad or whatsoever. But I thought wrong. All I could think of when I listen to Born This Way is clubs, pubs, people dancing and sweats. Is that a good thing? I guess not. There's nothing special about this song except the lyric, specifically this line, "I'm beautiful in my way cause God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track baby, I was born this way." The music arrangement is, should I say, mediocre. No offense but that's just my opinion. I'm not saying it's bad because it's not. I'm saying that Gaga could come out with something better than this.
Imagine waiting for so long for something that we thought is so great but then end up getting a 'thing' which we can actually find anywhere without having to wait.
Well.
Anyway, I do like the song though. Because it makes me feel like jumping.
